Travel requirements are somewhat similar regardless of the travel destination. Generally a minimum requirement for traveling is an official identification and documentation for the animal, along with a rabies vaccination. In EU countries and many countries equivalent to EU standards, the travel requirements are unified. However, when traveling to or from third countries (within or outside of Europe), additional documents such as a separate health certificate for the animal may be required, and depending on the destination, testing for certain infectious diseases or rabies antibody titration test may also be necessary.
